Dave Barrett biography
Dave Barrett has worked in the field of telecommunications communications for over 30 years. Using this experience together with his work in the field of accessibility he now promotes inclusive design principles.
On a broader level Dave has been involved with European Telecommunications Network Operators (ETNO), as a representative on INCOM (Inclusive Communications). This group is looking at the accessibility of telecommunications across the member states of the EU, identifying best practice as well as areas for improvement.
Outside of his accessibility work Dave can be found setting up discos for his son or doing stage management for a local stage school.
Dave works for BT's Age and Disability Action team, where he promotes accessibility throughout the company. This may be websites, products or services.
