Jake Liddell biography

Jake Liddell is a contributing member of the AAP and co-author of our glossary.
Jake is an all-rounder - a business consultant, but a true techie at heart! Drawing upon 12 years of commercial experience delivering business-critical information technology solutions, he aims to help people understand both how to achieve the benefits, and the resources and costs required to make accessibility for everyone happen.
In the wider IT community, Jake is a regular reader and commentor on both Internet technology, and the wider business IT landscape. He writes regularly for various publications, including pieces for the British Computer Society and Conspectus (the IT publication for Directors and decision makers).
Jake holds a degree in Computer Science, is a member of the BCS, and a chartered engineer.
Aside from his day job, Jake has several other current projects on the go, including two new businesses and a book. He also likes pretending to play golf and squash and discussing life with his friends in a local hostelry.
Currently Jake is the manager of the Technical Consultancy team at Charteris, a consultancy specialising in advising clients in the effective use of technology.
